Colleen Campbell – Yoga Instructor Offsite & Special Classes

Colleen’s yoga journey began in her early 20s when she was in search of a way to move and connect with her body. What she found was a sacred place within herself, and a practice that can change and grow with her both physically and spiritually. Now as a mom of three, her yoga practice and role as a mother are beautifully and chaotically intertwined. She completed her 200-hour training with White Lotus Yoga in 2019 and became a registered yoga teacher with the Yoga Alliance (RYT200). In 2020 she completed 85-hour Prenatal & Postnatal teacher training through Sweet Momma Yoga to become a Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher (RPYT). Lars Covintree – Boxing Instructor

Lars is so happy and excited to be teaching Boxing here at Pushna. It is fantastic to be working with Jess and the great team at Pushna, where I first started as a student in these classes. This class is his first venture into adult instruction. Lars models his classes and cueing much after his initial instructor Jess, the owner of Pushna. He adds his own flare to each class adding fun transitions with lots of encouragement. He also is reaching into what’s worked well in the classroom and the feedback received from students, players, coworkers and administration. Every session is meant to be not only a great workout for your body but also your mind and no class will be exactly the same. Each hour you spend in boxing should fill you with personal satisfaction and an appreciation of who you are striving to be.
On a personal side, Lars is happily married to his wife Angela and am proud father of son Braeden(14) and step-children Jordan(26) and Serena(25). All of whom brighten his life in countless ways. Lars came to Pushna Wellness with a background in athletics and education. He earned his bachelors degree in Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance from Adrian College in 1993, and his Masters in Athletic Administration from Wayne State in 1999. Since 1994 he has taught physical education in the Clarkston Community Schools, where he currently serves as the PE department chair at Clarkston High School. Throughout his teaching career he also coached football and boys basketball at all highschool levels for over 25 years.
Philosophically he believes in the power of fitness and the fulfillment a person can achieve through physical activity. Whether training for triathlon or shooting baskets in the driveway with your kids, sport is a lifetime journey and every opportunity is unique and special. Boxing at Pushna should be no different. He can’t wait to see you shine in class!

Bill Parker – Boxing Instructor

Bill brings a wealth of boxing knowledge gained from an extensive amateur boxing career during which he won multiple state championships and participation in the USA Olympic Trials.
The father of two daughters, Bill used “boxercise” to teach them the fun of exercise through boxing workouts and the benefits of keeping your body physically fit – as well as a little self defense.
As an exercise regime, boxing enhances and develops multiple muscle groups including neck and shoulders, arms, core, legs and cardio. The key to successful boxercise, says Bill, is to keep it fun and physical, but not push too hard.
In his personal life, Bill has been the editor of Michigan Outdoor News for the past 23 years, and a publicist for ShowSpan Inc., which produces premiere consumer shows, for the past nine years. He enjoys spending time with family and friends and finds peace and fulfillment in connecting with nature and our vast natural resources.

Claire Koger – Yoga Instructor
Meet Claire, she’s a 25-year-old, free-spirited gal. She’s a certified adult and kid’s yoga instructor, Reiki Master and tarot card reader.

“I like yoga because it stands for union… union of one’s body, mind, spiritual connection, and community. It’s a practice that is truly for everyone, and over time we make our own style. On my mat I feel at peace. My busy mind and worries seem to drift away. I let conscious breathing be my anchor throughout my practice and flow with my rhythmic breath. Yoga makes me feel soft and vulnerable, yet strong and fierce.
My mat pulled me out of a very dark time and has set me on this beautiful journey that I’m so deeply passionate about. I’m eager to meet like-minded mindful individuals and spread some love. I offer a spiritual, land based, mindful, and intuitive practice.“

Audrey finds joy in empowering others to find their strength and the value that they add to any space they are in, and most importantly, encouraging individuals to dare to love themselves.
