Prenatal yoga is designed to help the mom-to-be gain greater breath and body awareness helpful in birth and recovery.
A consistent prenatal yoga practice will give you the tools to ease the common discomforts that come with being pregnant! Some well known benefits of practicing yoga in pregnancy include: improved sleep; decreased stress and anxiety; increased strength; flexibility and endurance; decreased lower back pain and shortness of breath.
Each pregnancy, even each week within pregnancy, is different. Honor this sacred transition into motherhood with a regular practice of yoga. It will help you to settle your awareness inward, listen to your changing body and growing baby, and advocate for yourself during labor, labor, and motherhood.
